Armando Patino, 93, of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Holy Family Manor. He was the husband of the late Antonia V. (DeLeon) Patino who passed away on February 17, 2016. Born in Sulphur Mine, Louisiana, he was was one of 6 children to the late Lorenzo and Carolina (Gomez) Patino. Armando worked for the Bethlehem Coke Works for 33 years until retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Steelworkers Union local #2599. Armando was a member of Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church.
Survivors: Armando is survived by his 3 children, Carolyn (Nina) wife of George Roman, Antoinette wife of Keith Strunk and A. David Patino husband of Wanda Patino and grandchildren, Erik, and Jordan Roman, Kyle and Kevin Strunk and Taylor Patino. He is also survived by his siblings Natalia Torres, Estela Trevino, Enriqueta Bres and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Armando was predeceased by his siblings Homero Patino and Elena Vera.
Services: A viewing will be held on Wednesday October 11, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 and again at the funeral home on Thursday October 12th from 10:30 to 11:30 AM followed by a 12 Noon Mass of Christian burial at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 730 W. Broad Street Bethlehem, PA 18018. His burial will follow at Holy Savior Cemetery. Online condolences may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
