Alfred J. Bendl

Alfred J. Bendl, 86, of Bethlehem Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday August 30, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Dorothea G. (Grube) Bendl whom passed away August 5, 2010. Born in Nazareth, he was the son of the late Frank and Theresa (Didovitz) Pendl. Alfred honorably served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Nazareth Box and later for Kay Builders Construction Company for over 30 years until retiring in 2003. Alfred was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Nazareth, the Heights A.A. Bethlehem, North End Wanderers Club, I.C.C., Rock Ridge Hunting Club and was the Past Commander of the American Legion.

Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his family members and friends.

Services: Funeral Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Alfred's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
