Robert L. Bedell

Robert L. Bedell, 77, of Rochester, NY, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 in the care of the Gardens at Easton, PA. He was the beloved husband of Judith A. (Sweetman) Bedell. Bob was born on February 6, 1942 in Lakewood, NJ to the late Robert E. and Mae Bedell. Bob worked as a Lineman for Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) for many years before retiring. Prior to JCP&L, he honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a B-52 Tail Gunner. Bob was very proud of his service and enjoyed attending air shows and air museums. He was a devout Christian, faithful husband, loving father, and proud Grandpop.   

SURVIVORS: In addition to his wife Judith, he is missed by his children, William Bedell and wife Tammy of Fayetteville, NC; Michael Bedell and wife Jane of Macungie, PA; Tracy Mourer and husband John of Rochester, NY; Robert S. Bedell and wife Carol of Bangor, PA; and Patrice Bedell of Rochester, NY; along with 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Ted Bedell. 

SERVICES: An interment service will take place at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Ceremony Chapel, 350 Provinceline Road
Wrightstown, NJ. A memorial luncheon will be held immediately following at The Roost, 181 Route 539, Cream Ridge, NJ.
