John J. Raab

John J. "Yaunch" Raab, 91, of Hanover Township, and formerly of Fountain Hill, passed away suddenly on Monday November 11, 2019 in the home of his daughter Fran, where he resided. He was the husband of the late Jeanette (Rinker) Raab who passed in January 18, 1991.  Born in Wassergass, he was the son of the late Jacob and Maria (Sharkan) Raab.  Yaunch worked Branch Motors as a truck driver for over 35 years, then he worked for Auto Parts Warehouse for 17 years. He was a former member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity. He was also a former member of the fearless fire Co., and the Fountain Hill Republican Club.  

SURVIVORS: He will be sadly missed by his daughters Fran Campanella (John Breidinger) with who he resided, of Hanover Township, Donna Bealer (William) of Bethlehem, Michele Kern (Ethan) of Bushkill Township; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his sisters Maria and Theresa, and brothers Martin, Louis, Jacob, Stephen, Michael, and Bill. 

SERVICES: A prayer service will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 14, 2019 in the Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway Fountain Hill,  where the family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00A.M. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Nisky Hill Cemetery.
