Corey L. Horvath, 56, of Fountain Hill, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late William and Carolyn (Shenk) Horvath.
Corey honorably served his county in the U.S. Army from 1981 to 1984. After leaving the army he became a mail handler for the United States Postal Service for many years. He attended Holy Trinity Lutheran church and Unitarian Universalist Church of the Lehigh Valley. He was an activist for the LGBTQ community for over 25 years. He loved to read especially Stephen King, Ann Rice and J.K. Rowling novels. He also enjoyed fishing and camping.
SURVIVORS: Corey will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Karen Horvath of Bethlehem and niece Jordan Marjonen.
SERVICES: A celebration of life will take place at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 11, 2019 in Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem where the family will receive friends and relatives from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service.
