Celebration of the Life of Olga Santi

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Olga Santi Garcia, 97, of Easton on Thursday, February 2, 2023.  Born on August 25, 1925 in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Roque Santi Galletti and Maria Garcia Reyes.

Olga was a master seamstress for many years working with different designers until she retired. Later in life she worked as a seamstress for Curto Toys, and for Crayola in Easton. In New York City she was a member of Hijos de Ponce and was a volunteer interpreter at the World Trade Center. Olga raised her children to believe in God and was known for her unwavering dedication to helping those in need.

For many years, Olga (la abuelita) opened her doors to provide shelter and support to the homeless in her neighborhood. Her home was a sanctuary for those who had nowhere else to turn, and her kindness and generosity touched the lives of countless individuals.
