MaryAnn Haller, 59, of Bethlehem died Saturday, November 19, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. Born in Portland, OR, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Christine (Pohl) Haller. After graduating Curtis High School in Staten Island, MaryAnn attained an associate’s degree from Drake Business School, also in Staten Island. She has been the Director of Graduate Studies for the College of Arts and Science at Lehigh University for the past 31 years. Always creative and whimsical, she enjoyed cooking, word games, writing, reading, and a plethora of creative endeavors. MaryAnn was considered by many to be a connoisseur of coffee, a true Queen of Caffeine. Most of all, MaryAnn has touched countless lives with her unforgettable presence, her guidance and wisdom, and her unparalleled ability to see the absolute best in others. She will be dearly missed, and through our community, her spirit lives on.
Survivors: Daughter, Lillian M. Schrecengost of Cambridge, MA; brothers, Paul Haller of Scranton, Peter Haller of Easton; sister, Cornelia Echeverria, VA; nieces; nephews; beloved dog, Brolin.
