Stuart M. Gerber

Stuart M. Gerber, 74, of Bethlehem, PA formerly of Springfield and Longmeadow passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 30, 2024. Born in Portland, ME on May 18, 1949 he was the son of the late Nathan and Esther (Cohen) Gerber.

Stuart attended Technical High School and was a graduate of Western New England College.  He obtained his teaching certification from American International College. Stuart was a lifelong teacher in the Springfield School System and also served in the Marine Corps Reserves. He worked part-time at T.J. Maxx Company for over 15 years and was a lifelong patron of the White Hut.

Stuart loved spending time with family, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and collecting antiques.

He is survived by his son, Evan and his wife Marsha of Bethlehem, PA. He was predeceased by his sister, Sara Beth Alvarado of Arizona. He also leaves his ex wife, Karen Gerber who remained a close friend. His dog, Billy, who he cherished, will miss him greatly.

Services for Stuart will be private and at the convenience of his family.
