Molly A. (Horton) Forsyth, of Salisbury Township, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024, at the age of 80, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her adoring family. Born on February 19, 1944, in Danville, PA, Molly's life was one of unwavering warmth and generosity, touching the lives of everyone she met.
Molly was the cherished daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary (McGee) Horton.
After graduating from St. Cyril Academy, Molly embarked on a fulfilling career in Real Estate. Her friendly demeanor and genuine concern for others made her not only successful in her profession but also a beloved figure in the community.
Molly's heart found its match in John V. Forsyth, Jr., and together they built a life full of happiness and mutual respect. Their union was blessed with two sons, John V. Forsyth III and his wife Emily, and Jeffrey Forsyth and fiancé Tracy Hetrich, who brought even more joy into Molly's life. Although her beloved husband preceded her in death, the love they shared continued to be a guiding light for their family.
A devoted mother and an adored grandmother, Molly's legacy is carried on through her grandchildren, John IV, Danielle, and Connor. She instilled in them the values of love, kindness, and friendship, which she exemplified in every aspect of her life. Her lessons and memories will remain a treasured part of their lives. Molly is also survived by her loving brother, Joseph Horton, and his wife Sandy.
Molly’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, kindness, and the warmth of human connection. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. We take solace in knowing that her legacy of love will live on through the lives of her family and friends, and the countless memories she created will be cherished forever.
