Annamarie Fehr Obituary

Annamarie (Almer) Fehr, 82, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2024, while in the care of Country Meadows, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 22, 1941, in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Pius and Mabel (Sorge) Almer. Annamarie's life was a tapestry of warm memories and enduring relationships, woven with the threads of love she shared with her late beloved husband, James P. Fehr, her daughters, grandchildren, and the many lives she touched.

Annamarie was a proud graduate of Liberty High School, class of 1959. Her professional journey began as a dedicated secretary for Lehigh University and Lovelace & Spillman. However, Annamarie's true calling was found in the joys of homemaking, a role she embraced with her whole heart.

Her faith was an integral part of her life, and she was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church in Easton. Her involvement in church activities reflected her commitment to her faith and her community. Annamarie's presence was a source of comfort and inspiration to those around her, and her contributions to the church will be fondly remembered.

An avid gardener, Annamarie found solace and joy in the beauty of nature. Her garden was a vibrant testament to her patience and nurturing spirit. She also cherished the opportunities to travel with her husband and family, creating memories in destinations near and far. Annamarie's love for her home was evident in the care she took in hosting family and friends, especially during the holidays when her decorating skills transformed her home into a festive sanctuary.

Her love for history, particularly her enthusiasm for the Civil War, was not just a hobby but a passion that she shared with others. Annamarie's knowledge and interest in the past enriched the lives of those around her and often sparked engaging conversations.

Her love for her daughters, Laurie A. Boucher, Melanie M. Shimer and her husband Charles H., and Amy E. Bleier and her husband Joseph, was unwavering and served as the cornerstone of a family built on mutual respect, support, and affection. Annamarie's greatest joy was found in the laughter and presence of her grandchildren, Christopher, Noelle, Joel, Matthew, Jimmy, and Douglas. She reveled in their accomplishments and milestones, always offering a listening ear, words of encouragement, and a warm embrace.
