Walter P. Bruch, 90, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday November 3, 2017 at Holy Family Manor. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Frank R. and Mary M. (Willmet) Bruch. Walter honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He retired from the Navy on June 6, 1964 after serving for 21 1/2 years. Later he worked for the City of Bethlehem and was part owner/operator of F&K Paving. He was a member of the Jefferson Democratic Club, BVFHA, West End Republican Club, and the Heights A.A. Walter was a kind and genuine man who always was willing to help someone in need. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Dorothy Shegina; brother LeRoy Bruch both of Bethlehem; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers James, Edward, and Harry. Services: A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday November 7, 2017 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 AM until time of service.
