Shelly (Sawyer) Barry-Carroll, 55, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 27, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. She was the loving wife of Bryan Carroll.
Born in Waverly, NY, Shelly was the daughter of the late Richard and Katherine (Green) Sawyer, and her late step-father John Hrusovsky. She earned her Nursing Degree from St. Joe's University in New York, and worked as a social worker for Life Path and several other Lehigh Valley agencies. She will be missed by her friends, co-workers and family.
Survivors: husband Bryan; children Jonathan Salata, Matthew Barry, and Amber Carroll; brother Richard Sawyer, Jr.; sister Sherry Talada; 3 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Shelly was predeceased by her parents, her step-father, and her brother, Russell "Rusty" Sawyer.
Services: Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 31, in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, 18018, where friends may call from 1:00 PM until time of services. Burial will be private. A memory tribute may be placed at www.longfuneralhome.com
