Norma Nieves

Norma Nieves, 69, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill. She was the loving wife of Francisco Nieves. They would have been married for 40 years, this coming April. Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Gregorio Mendoza and the late Victoria (Diaz) Nieves. Norma worked as a food server at Bethlehem Catholic High School. She was a faithful member of Holy Infancy Church where she served with the Daughters of Mary. Survivors: In addition to her loving husband Francisco; step daughter Sandra Nieves of Patterson, NJ; sister Maggie Perez and her husband Jorge; nephews Josean and Luis all of Bethlehem. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on December 23, 2017 at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. 4th Street Bethlehem, PA 18015. Calling hours will be held from 8:30 A.M. until the time of the Mass in church. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Norma's arrangements are entrusted to Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
