Mayra Antongiorgi Obituary
Mayra Gonzalez Antongiorgi, 48, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, surrounded by her loving family while in the care of St. Luke's Hospice. She was the wife of Michael Antongiorgi with whom she shared 21 years of loving marriage. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of Julio Cesar and Rosa (Rivas) Gonzalez. Mayra was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School class of 1987 and later attended East Stroudsburg University. She worked as a District Justice Technician for Northampton County District Court for most of her life. Mayra was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem. She enjoyed Spanish music, dancing and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Mayra was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her husband Michael; daughters Adriana Antongiorgi and her fiancé Eric of Nazareth, Jacquelin Antongiorgi of Bethlehem; sisters Millie Gonzalez, Marilyn DeLeon and her husband Angel all of Bethlehem; grandchildren Victoria Ticker, Alana Otero, Caleb Gonzalez and Liam Gonzalez. Mayra is also survived by her niece and goddaughter Taliyah Rose Torres. She was preceded in death by her grandson Abel Jesus Otero and her loving dog Kassidy Angel.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. 4th Street Bethlehem, PA 18015. Calling hours will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and also on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until 12 Noon at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 Burial will be at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com
