Lewis Ernst Obituary
Lewis J. Ernst, 81, of Bethlehem, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospice House. He was the husband of the late Diana (Davis) Ernst, who died in 2007.
Born in Fullerton, Lewis was the son of the late Robert and Madeline Ernst. He served his country in the US Army. Lewis then worked on the assembly line for Mack Trucks for over 30 years. He was a former member of the Grover Cleveland Democratic Club, and of the Church of the Manger in Bethlehem. He was an avid reader of many topics, and also enjoyed vacations at the beach, following NASCAR racing, working in his gardens, and raising fish and pigeons.
Survivors: son Lewis Ernst, Jr. and his companion Sher Wert; brother Robert Ernst; grandchildren Lewis, III, and Moriah Lynn.
Services: Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, 18018, where friends may call from 10
