Lester J. Albaugh, 86, of Bethlehem, entered eternal life on Monday, March 19, 2018. He was the husband of the late Joanne M. Albaugh, with whom he shared 58 years of loving marriage. Born in Shoals, Indiana, he was the son of the late Samuel Albaugh and Hazel Flemming. Lester honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He drove an armored car for 37 years and later drove a school bus for Spring Garden Children's Center in Easton. Lester coached baseball at North Central Little League and enjoyed camping and fishing trips with the Cub Scouts. He was a longtime member of Bethany UCC Church in Bethlehem, where he was active in Men's Fellowship.
Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his son, John Albaugh of Bethlehem; daughter Lisa Nguyen and her husband Dr. Minh of Bethlehem; Three granddaughters, Jenna, Kaitlin and Erin.
Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Bethany UCC Church, 600 W. Market Street, Bethlehem. There will be no calling hours. Burial with military honors will take place at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery, following the service. Lester's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
