Katie Serfass Obituary
Katie M. (Sagi) Serfass, 89, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25, 2017, at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. She was the wife of the late Charles A. Serfass, with whom she shared over 64 years of loving marriage until his death in 2015.
Born in Walnutport, Katie was the daughter of the late Paul and Esther (Bodo) Sagi. She worked for the Bethlehem Area School District in the cafeteria, and was a member of Trinity UCC Church in Bethlehem. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, and also loved to travel, having been to all of the 48 continental United States.
Survivors: son Kenneth R. Serfass of Bethlehem; granddaughters Lauren Serfass and Kelly Dalton and her husband Anthony, both of Bethlehem; great-granddaughter Evelyn; sisters Ethel Molnar of Reading, and Helen Hari of Bethlehem. Katie was predeceased by her sisters, Mary and Julie.
Services: A Memorial Service will held be at Noon on Friday, September 29, in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St, Bethlehem, where friends may call from 11 AM until time of services. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. A memory tribute may be placed at www.longfuneralhome.com
