Josephine Inglese Obituary
Josephine L. Inglese, 85, of Springtown, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2017, surrounded by her loving family at St. Luke's Hospice House. She was the devoted wife of Roger A. Inglese with whom she shared 64 years of loving marriage. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Gurski) Nosal. Josephine was a graduate of Allentown High School and the Allentown Hospital School of Nursing. She went on to receive her bachelor's degree in nursing from East Stroudsburg University and later received her master's degree in counseling from Lehigh University. Josephine worked as a Registered Nurse for the Bethlehem Area School District, including 25 years at Spring Garden Elementary School until retiring in 1993. Her love of nature and the outdoors showed in her beautiful gardening. She had a strong love for her family and all children. Josephine was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors: She will be sadly missed by her husband Roger at home; daughter Lois Inglese Giamber and her husband Dr. Samuel R. Giamber of Coopersburg; Son in law Joseph M. Rice of Hellertown; granddaughters Jacquelyn Rose Febbo and her husband James and Elizabeth Mary Rice; great-grandchildren Karen Rose Newhall and Jack Thomas Newhall; sister Jean Gal of Bethesda,MD and Dr. Jules Nosal and his wife Sharan of North Ferrisburgh, Vermont. She was preceded in death by her daughter Karen Joan Rice who passed away in 1992.
Services: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Josephine's arrangements have been entrusted to Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill, PA. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com
