On Thursday, January 25, 2018, James E. Reinhard, Sr., age 77, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home in Bethlehem, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the husband of Charlotte (Terdik) Reinhard, with whom he shared over 57 years of loving marriage. Jim was recently predeceased by his son, Jimmy Reinhard, II, who died on January 22.
Jim was a warm and reliable man who was able to make a friend everywhere he went. Jim spent his early years working at Bethlehem Steel Corp., and worked hard his whole life until finally retiring from Moravian Village at the age of 75. Jim loved the Eagles, the Phillies, and going to Promised Land, but most of all he loved his wife and family. He had the ability to make everyone feel welcomed and loved. Because of this, his home was always the gathering place for friends and family. Jim was happiest when he was surrounded by all the ones he loved.
Survivors: wife Charlotte; daughters Tammy Boyer and her husband Brian, Susan Felker and her husband Joe; grandchildren Amanda, Allison, Joseph, Daniel, Ava and Ian; daughter-in-law Kelley Justice; sister Barbara Sigley; brother Robert Reinhard. Jim was predeceased by his son Jimmy, and his siblings Jeanine Smith, and William and Glen Reinhard.
Services: A Funeral Service for both James and Jimmy will be held at 11 AM Saturday, February 3, in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, 18018, where friends may call from 9:30 AM until time of services. A memory tribute may be placed at www.longfuneralhome.com
