James Orwan

James Orwan, 77, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Gracedale Nursing Home. He was the loving husband of Mary (Engle) Orwan with whom he shared 44 years of loving marriage. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Riantfort) Orwan. James worked as a salesman for various heavy duty truck part companies for most of his life. He loved hunting and cowboy movies.

Survivors: he will be lovingly remembered by his wife Mary; children Kimberly Barry of Bethlehem, Mark Orwan and his wife Yvonne of Florida, Lee Ann Smolick and her husband John of Kunkletown, James P. Orwan of Bethlehem; step-sons Robert Hoffert and his wife Theresa of Northampton and Timothy Hoffert and his wife Jamie of Hellertown; grandchildren Jessica, Amanda, Briana, Caitlin, Sam and Elizabeth; great-granddaughters Kendall and Kylie. James was preceded in death by his siblings John, Geanie, Joseph, Robert, Anna, Claire and Elizabeth.

Services: A funeral service will be held at 7 P.M. on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 5 P.M. until time of service.
