Helen Bencak Obituary
Helen Susanna Bencak, 87, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 20, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late Ernest J. "Ernie" Bencak. Born in Hellertown, she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Cora (Yost) Ziegenfuss. Helen was a graduate of Liberty High School. She worked briefly for Union Bank. Helen enjoyed watching Family Feud and spending time with her loving family and her cats, Buddy and Missy.
Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Ernest J. Bencak, Jr. and his wife, Janice of Bethlehem; granddaughter, Erin Hawk and her husband Scott of Palmerton; great-grandchildren, Conrad Hawk and Cora Hawk. Helen was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Susan L. Bencak in 2009.
Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time of service. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Hellertown. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
