Harold Rockman Obituary

Harold D. Rockman, 84, of Allentown, passed away on Wednesday June 21, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown. He was the husband of Dolores "Dolly" (Podberesky) Rockman, with who he shared 59 years of loving marriage. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Saul and Rachel (Tulin) Rockman. He was a graduate of Hazleton High School and later attended Wilkes College. He honorably served his country in the US Coast Guard during the Korean War. Harold worked in sales in advertising for many years, until retiring. He was a member of Agudas Israel Synagogue and past president of B'nai Brith both in Hazleton.
Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his son Steve Rockman of Las Vegas, NV; daughter Amy Ruzza and her husband Robert, and their children Zachary and Gavin of Paramus, NJ.
Services: A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday June 26, 2017 at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St. Bethlehem, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. A memory tribute may be placed at www.longfuneralhome.com. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2166 S. 12th ST. #101 Allentown, PA 18103.
