Frederick "Rick" Chillingworth, of Bethlehem, lost his battle with ALS on Thursday, Sept. 21st, 2017.
Born in New Rochelle, NY, he was the son of the late Fred and Josephine Chillingworth. He grew up in Larchmont, NY, and then moved to Laconia, NH, with his family when he was a sophomore in high school. He played varsity baseball and loved hockey as well, graduating from Laconia High School in 1962. He attended the University of Miami, and later graduated from Concord Commercial College in Concord, NH. Rick worked for many years in the microfilming industry, first in New Haven, CT, and then in Bethlehem. Rick loved athletics of all types, and was a loyal New York Giants fan all his life.
Survivors: Rick is survived by his sister, Denise Rutz of Broomfield, CO, and his brother Geoff Chillingworth of Salt Lake City, UT, and by many first cousins.
Services: Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St, Bethlehem, 18018, where friends may call from 9:30 AM until time of services. Interment will follow at Nisky Hill Cemetery, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.longfuneralhome.com
