Floyd Schaeffer Obituary
Floyd C. Schaeffer, 80, of Freemansburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at ManorCare Health Services, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Josephine (Weaver-Masenheimer) Schaeffer, who died in 2000.
Born in Hellertown, Floyd was the son of the late Stephen and Lena (Mindler) Schaeffer. He worked for Just Born for many years, retiring after 44 years of service. He loved fishing, going to the casinos, playing card games, going out for long drives, and working on his cars.
Survivors: son Glen Schaeffer and his wife Eda of Freemansburg; daughter Sheryl Sauerwine and her husband Kenneth of Freemansburg; sisters Evelyn Micolochick of Hellertown, Nancy Schaeffer Miller and her husband Barry of Hellertown; granddaughters Amber and Ashley; great-granddaughter Scarlet. Floyd was predeceased by his siblings, Harold, Edward and Keith Schaeffer, and Edna Steckhouse.
Services: Funeral Services will held be at 10 AM on Saturday, September 16, in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, 18018, where friends may call from 9 AM until time of services.
