Faye Kern-Colliflower Obituary
Faye J. Kern-Colliflower, 88, of Slatington, passed away on Tuesday June 12, 2018, in her home. She was the wife of the late Forrest Kern and the late Edward Colliflower. Born in Fullerton, she was the daughter of the late Spurgeon and Agnes (Wavrek) Weidner. Faye worked as a seamstress for various factories in the area for many years. She also worked as a Nurses Aid for Cedarbrook in Allentown. She was a good cook and a friend to everyone. Faye was very social and loved driving her car. She also enjoyed embroidering, knitting, and crocheting.
SURVIVORS: She will be lovingly remembered by her son Robert W. Kern and his wife Cynthia of Fogelsville; daughter Susan Richard and her husband Robert of Potter County; sister Joyce Tomanik of Allentown; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Spurgeon Weidner, Jr.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday June 20, 2018 at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. Faye's arrangements are entrusted to Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, PA 18018, A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
