Evelyn McCarroll-Koshko Obituary
Evelyn N. McCarroll-Koshko, 99, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Monday February 19, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Samuel McCarroll and the late Philip Koshko. Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Bauer) Loeffler. Evelyn worked as a assembler and a supervisor for Western Electric for may years, until retiring. She was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church, where she was very active, and enjoyed traveling with the church group to Europe. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and was an amazing baker.
SURVIVORS: She will be lovingly remembered by her step-daughter Eileen McCarroll of Bethlehem; daughter-in-laws Barbara McCarroll of Bethlehem, Jean Newell of Ephrata; grandchildren, Thomas Patrick and Teresa Rose both of Bethlehem and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by hers sons William Newell, Michael McCarroll; grandson Scott Newell; sister Rose; brothers Ed and Francis "Lefty".
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday February 23, 2018 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 AM until time of service. Her burial will be held at Holy Savior Cemetery, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
CONTRIBUTIONS: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18018.
