Douglas P. Walbert

Douglas Paul Walbert, 46, formerly of Allentown, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 in Frisco Texas. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Donald P. Walbert and Jeanne R. (Hess) Walbert of Davenport, FL. Doug was a 1988 graduate of William Allen High School. He was also a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, where he received his Bachelors of Science and the University of North Texas, where he received his Masters degree. He was the owner/operator of Earthbound Travel, where he was a cruise planner and travel agent. Doug enjoyed traveling, golf and music.

Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by mother Jeanne; sister Paula Cuchran of Walnutport; brother Josh Walbert of Orlando, FL; nieces Claudia and Danika; nephews Martin, Karl and Tyler; canine companion Lucky and Lisa Walbert of Texas and Donna Walbert of Ft. Myers, FL.

Services: A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Doug's name to Vera Cruz EC Church, 5501 Vera Cruz Road, Emmaus, PA 18049 and/or the SPCA of Texas, 2400 Lone Star Drive Dallas, TX 75212.
