Catherine Kerchner Obituary
Catherine Kerchner, 82 of Bath, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 5, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Roland J. Kerchner who passed away in 2011. Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Elsie (Reiss) Applegate. Catherine worked as a laborer for most of her life for clothing manufactures. She enjoyed spending time with her family and doing her puzzle books. Catherine was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Nazareth.
Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her children, Debbie Clayton and her husband Larry of Illinois, Karen Miller and her companion Jermaine of Bath, Janet Bazzi and her husband Joe of Michigan, Brenda Rodgers and her companion Keith of Bethlehem, Susan Zettlemoyer, Nelson Allen, Edward Allen and Donna; brothers Edward Applegate and Stanley Applegate; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother William and sister June.
Services: A funeral service will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Saturday October 7, 2017 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 11:30 A.M. until time of service. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. A memory tribute may be placed at www.longfuneralhome.com
