Betty J. Pagan, 83, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at St Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill. She was the loving wife of the late Raymond J. Pagan. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Genevieve (Foy) Cooke. Betty was a graduate of Liberty High School, class of 1952. She worked as a cashier for Acme. She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Betty loved playing bingo, and enjoyed going to many social clubs in the area with her husband.
SURVIVORS: She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Deborah A. Schroettner and her husband Helmut of Bethlehem, Sandie S. Conway and her wife Dina of Blandon, Kimberly E. McCloskey and her husband Brian of Emmaus; son Ricky J. Pagan of Florida; sister Carol Fertal and her husband Ed of Easton, Jerry Cooke and his wife Helen of Florida, James Cooke and his wife Denise of Allentown; 14 grandchildren and many great- grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her daughters Mary and Genevieve, son Raymond, grandson Ronald and siblings Mary, Ann and Bill.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. 4th Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015. A viewing will be held from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 prior to the mass. Burial will take place at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
