Arlene V. Haas, 96, of Bethlehem, went to be with the Lord on Friday November 3, 2017, while in the care of Moravian Village. She was the wife of the late Harold W. Haas who passed away on October 13, 2010. Born in Butztown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Elsie (Rodgers) Dewalt. Arlene worked as a sales clerk for over 50 years at the former Guth's Leather Goods. She was a member of the YWCA Bowling League and the Nancy Run Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. Arlene was a participant in a Pinochle Card Club that met every month for over 50 years. She was a member of Christ Church UCC, Bethlehem. Arlene's family would like to thank the staff at Moravian Village for the loving care and support they provided to Arlene the past several years.
Survivors: Arlene will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Nancy A. Troutman and her husband David of Rome, NY, and Carol A. Jacoby and her husband David of Bethlehem, Twp.; grandchildren, Randy Troutman, his wife Dawn and their children Annika and Lukas; Christopher Troutman and his son Johnathan; Linda Zelows, her husband Charles and their children Stephen, Victoria and Katherine; Jeffrey Jacoby, his wife Jillian and their sons Charles and Fritz; and Kristin Jacoby. Arlene was preceded in death by her siblings Kenneth, Harold, Paul and Hazel Frable and her great- grandson Andrew Zelows.
Services: A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:30 A.M. until time of service. Burial will take place at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
