Obituary for Stephen Shestok
Stephen Shestok, 93, of Bethlehem, died Friday, June 15, 2012, at Keystone Villa at Fleetwood in Blandon, Pa. He was the husband of Ruth M. (Dahmer) Shestok for 67 years. Born in Berwick, he was the son of the late Peter and Anna (Maschinski) Shestok. Stephen was a Navy veteran of WWII. He worked as a salesman for Seagrams Distillers for many years. He also owned and operated the Harley Hotel in Pennsburg, with his brother Mike and worked for the Bethlehem Steel. Stephen was a member of Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, where he served as an usher, and was a member of the seniors group. Survivors: in addition to his loving wife, are son Stephen M. Shestok and his wife Wenda of Orefield; daughter Janet Bailey and her husband Kenny of Danielsville; grandson Scott, and 4 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his grandson Jason Weidner and siblings Nicholas, Michael, Charlie, Paul, John, Pauline, Mary, Katie and Anna. Services: 10am Mass of Christian Burial on Monday June 18th at Ss. Simon & Jude Church, 730 W. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Memorials: to the church.
