Maryellen Stametz-Belgrasch died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at home surrounded by her devoted husband and daughters.
She was born in Allentown to the late Charles Franklin and Virginia Marie Stametz. Maryellen graduated from Fountain Hill High School and St. Luke’s School of Nursing. She married Joseph A. Belgrasch in 1972.
Maryellen was a nurse until she retired in 1993. She had a passion for literature, history, arts & crafts, laughter and her grandchildren.
Maryellen was a loving and devoted wife, sister, Mom and Nana. She will be always loved and missed by her husband, Joseph A. Belgrasch, 2 daughters, son-in-law and grandchildren: Cory S. Dailey, wife of Michael Dailey, of Bethlehem; Katy L. Belgrasch of Bethlehem; and three grandchildren, A.J., Logan and Mackenzie, all of Bethlehem, who will always remember her hugs and kisses; her brother, Charles F. Stametz and his wife Kathy of Fountain Hill.
A celebration of Maryellen’s life will be held, Thursday, May 10th @ 1:00pm in the social hall of St. Paul’s Church, 1059 Delaware Avenue, Fountain Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
