Obituary for Elsie Spirk
Elsie M. Spirk, 96, formerly of Seneca St., Fountain Hill, died Sat, December 24, 2011 in Cedarbrook Fountain Hill Annex.
Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Louisa (Bartholovich) Spirk.
She worked as a seamstress for many years at the former Laros Silk Mill until retiring.
Elsie was a member of University Parish of Holy Ghost, Bethlehem and the former Fountain Hill Beneficial Society where she was active with the Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling and baking.
Survivors: Many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Frank "Whitey", Joseph and John, sister, Margaret Kovacs.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial at 10am Thursday, December 29th at the University Parish of Holy Ghost, 417 Carlton Ave., Bethlehem. Call: 9-10am in the church.
Interment: Holy Ghost Cemetery, Bethlehem.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions, should be made the church.
