Marian Louise (Boughner) Fuller

Marian Louise Boughner Fuller, 99, passed away November 6, 2023 in Hilton Head, South Carolina. She was born the daughter of S. Oscar and Nellie Boughner on October 25, 1924 in Wilkes Barre, PA. She leaves behind her dear husband, Robert Merrill Fuller, also age 99, after 78 years of marriage and her daughter Wendy Robinson and husband William. She was predeceased by her daughter Deborah F. Lippincott and dear sisters Jean B. Smith and Claire B. Pierce. She has two grandchildren, Lindsay Robinson and Hunter Lippincott, his wife Lindsay Lippincott and two great grandchildren Emma and Ryan Lippincott.

Marian grew up in Mt. Airy, PA and graduated from Germantown High School. She married Robert in 1945 and raised her family in Bethlehem, PA. where she lived until she and Robert moved to Hilton Head in 2020. She was known and loved for her caring devotion to her family, which included her sisters as well as her own parents, all of whom lived into their mid and late nineties. Holidays were full of grandparents, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins and lots of love. Marian was also known for her "street smarts". Famous for the expression "what do they know", she used her great common sense, humor, and kindness of spirit to light her way in the world, a trooper and true lady of grace to the end. She lived a great, long life and will be deeply missed but with us in spirit always.

Celebration of Marian's life will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Low Country, 7 Plantation Park Drive, Bluffton, South Carolina 29910.
